Mecklenburg County businessman Jason Scott Glunt pleaded guilty to nine counts of Embezzlement of State Property involving $442,914.04 in N.C. sales taxes. The charges followed an investigation by NCDOR special agents.

Kristian Pedersen and Janna R. Donohue of Mecklenburg County pleaded guilty to felony tax charges. Pedersen paid $614,334.95 in restitution after businesses under his control failed to remit N.C. sales taxes.
