Time is running out! Board Certified Specialists: It's time to recertify.

Recertification applications are now open through the State Bar Member Portal. If 2026 is your recertification year, submit your application by September 30, 2026, to avoid late fees.

Important deadlines:
✔️ Application deadline: September 30, 2026
✔️ $250 late fee begins: October 10, 2026
✔️ Applications not received by December 31, 2026 will result in lapsed certification.

Not in your recertification year? Your annual specialist dues will be available in the Member Portal beginning July 1 and are due September 30, 2026. A $250 late fee will be assessed beginning October 10, and certification will lapse if payment is not received by December 31, 2026.
An email reminder will be sent when the portal opens.
