We can be modest at times, but this is such an awesome reflection of our entire community, that we can’t pass up an opportunity to say how proud we are of our entire nest! It truly takes a nest to raise an OWL, and raising Outstanding Women Leaders is exactly what we’re working to do! We exceeded growth, for the fourth year in a row, the data is trending up in all areas, proficiency is up (and 100% in several tested subjects), that graduation rate… WOW!! Yes these numbers are great, but the people behind this achievement are even better 💙💛🦉🏆!

Growing up, Carolina Mitchell had three teachers who made an especially big impact on her K-12 education. Now, as she comes to the NC State College of Education to earn a degree in elementary education, this Teaching Fellow and Goodnight Scholar is looking forward to becoming a teacher who inspires....
