Client Spotlight: MK ✨
MK (name changed) came to Women's Center through a referral from Healing Transitions. Before coming to the center MK feared for their safety and ending up incarcerated. With the love and support they found at the center MK was able to become their true self. "If it wasn't for the ladies and the strong women in this organization, I wouldn't be able to be MK". When asked what they appreciate most about the center MK said, "The strong women. I appreciate Amy (our director) for everything she does and everyone else." MK overall describes their time at the Women's Center as "Happy, joyous and free".

We're so grateful to MK for sharing their story! ♥️

Volunteer Spotlight:✨ St. John the Merciful Outreach Ministry
St. John has been involved with the Women's Center for over twenty years. For three years this specific group has been providing and serving a meal to our guests once a month! The members shared that as a part of their faith they feel the need to give back to those in need in their community.

Over the years they've worked with the center they've created many memories. One of the members shared one of her favorite: when one of our guests had told her that she had secured permanent housing. "She was so overjoyed she got an apartment...and she shared that joy with us!" Helping our guests towards the path to securing permanent housing is exactly the work we strive to do here at the Women's Center.

We are so grateful to the members of St. John the Merciful Outreach Ministry for the continued work they've done at the Women's Center. ♥️
