Please like, share and enjoy this amazing Spooky Fun Page from my awesome friend Kimberly Penkava Rebman!!
Warmest greetings and welcome to my weird little world!
My name is Kimberly and I am the owner of Blackwater Witchery.
As a native Floridian, I am inspired by murky water swamps, Spanish moss, creepy reptiles, folklore and architecture of the Old South.
I am deeply enchanted by canopied oak roads that lead to spooky cemeteries and gated off old Queen Annes.
I am a mama of two, an avid story teller, taphophile, a fan of all furried, feathered and scaled (I have two cats and a guinea pig), a historian, lover of the macabre and all things creepy, weird and strange.
Charmed by antiques, an appreciator of historic architecture, an old soul, my family’s black sheep, a bibliophile, and a plant mama. Nature heals me, cooking soothes my soul. Rainy days are best and ghost stories by the fire on a cool autumn night are my bliss.
You’ll usually find me with mud between my toes and paint on my fingertips.
Allowing my creative visions to come to life is a passion of mine. I have been an artist since I held a crayon for the very first time.
As I’ve aged, my mediums have changed, but my love for creating has held steadfast .
I am greatly influenced by the traditions of hoodoo and voodoo, southern gothic literature and folk magic.
Starting up my very own witchy shop has been a dream of mine for many years and now has finally come to fruition.
Here at Blackwater Witchery, we feature an eclectic assortment of handmade trinkets and treasures, including spell jars, rustic besoms, conjuring sticks, oddities/bone art, Halloween decor, antiques/vintage resale and various kinds of creepy curiosities.
We are currently online only, but will be doing the Florida market scene in the near future.
Since Blackwater Witchery is freshly hatched, there is plenty of room for growth. New creations will be added monthly, so be sure to check back in often.
Thank you for finding your way to my weird little shop and allowing me to be able to share my magick with you.
Blessed Be.
