Sanderson High School Jesse O. Sanderson High School, more commonly called Sanderson High School (SHS), is a co-educationa Sanderson High School was founded in 1968 by Jessie O.

Sanderson. Sanderson High School is part of the Wake County Public School System. We are located in North Raleigh, an area known as MIDTOWN and home to many past, current and future Spartans. We are known for many things! Our Academy of Finance program (AOF), Sports, Arts, ROTC, Holly Days, raising money for the NC Food Bank and much, much more, but one thing that stands the test of time...We are

known for our SPIRIT!!! Sanderson SPARTANS always stand together and we always STAY CLASSY along the way! Our Principal is amazing! Dr. Gretta Dula started leading our school in 2019. She loves the school, the staff and most importantly-the STUDENTS! Go SPARTANS!

🚗 Sanderson Student Parking Pass Info
Planning to drive to school next year? Read this before you apply 👇
✅ Who can apply: Students in good standing with acceptable attendance and a valid driver’s license
✅ When: Parking pass applications open July 15 at 8:00 AM
✅ Cost: $200 + online processing fee, paid through SchoolCash (payment must be completed before your application is processed)
✅ Pass Pick Up: Pass pick-up will take place in the main lobby on August 10 9:00 to 11:00 and 12:30 to 2:00
📄 What you need to apply:
• Driver’s license
• Vehicle registration (you can list up to 2 vehicles)
📍 Important reminders:
• Parking spaces are assigned by the school, and you’ll be contacted with your spot and pick-up details
• Do NOT bring a car to campus until you have your parking pass

Spots are limited, so make sure you’re ready to apply as soon as the window opens ⏰

Off-Campus Lunch Pass Applications

Spartans, here’s what you need to know 👇
✅ Who can apply: Juniors & seniors in good standing with acceptable attendance
✅Application opens: July 15 at 8:00 AM
✅ Cost: $10.50 (must be paid through SchoolCash Online before your application is processed)

📍Important: You must complete the application and payment to be approved. Parent Signature is required.

🚨 Reminder: Off-campus lunch is a privilege. All Sanderson and WCPSS rules still apply while you’re off campus. Represent Sanderson well, stay safe, be responsible, and get back to class on time!

All fees, fines must be cleared, and library books returned to receive graduation tickets.
