Training begins February 18th!!

Court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers advocate for the best-interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers work with child welfare professionals, educators and service providers to ensure that judges have the information they need to make the most well-informed decisions for each child.
Hundreds of children in Jackson and Dekalb County are in need of a voice, someone that cares enough to speak on their behalf! We need our communities help!! More volunteers are needed.

* If we don't stand up for children, then we don't stand for much” we received these amazing donations and some very generous contributions from some VERY special people who believe in our mission!!! We could not do this without the gracious support from our community!!! And the notes accompanying, brought even more tears to our eyes!!

Whoa!!!
It’s my birthday month!! And it’s the BIG 5…0…!!! While so many dread hitting such a milestone, I am grateful!!! I have so many blessings, accomplishments and have grown in so many ways!! 7 beautiful children, 2 grandsons and another coming next month!!! My husband spoils me, my kids are always trying to make things easier for me, helping often without being asked and a career, while emotionally very difficult at times, people on staff and a BOD that work tirelessly to make it all possible !!
I’m embracing 50!!!
All I wish for this BIG event is for my children and their families to be happy and healthy. And if anyone is of the gifting kind…. Maybe a donation to help our Casa Advocates mission, advocating for abused and neglected children in Alabama. Any dollar amount helps in a very BIG way!!!
