We know it's the first day of school today, and it is also the last day of the 2026 Summer Food Program courtesy of the Rotary Club of Yelm!

Food bags are available at the Rainier School District Office parking lot now until 12pm (or all bags are distributed).

Thank you for another great summer Rotary Club of Yelm! We really appreciate you.

SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM - LAST WEEK!!
Tuesday September 8th is our LAST distribution day. We will be at our 4 spots at 10am. We will be there until Noon, unless we run out early. Bring your kids to get their bags.
We will be at the following locations:

• Nisqually Pines Office
• Rainier - near the school old admin office
• Clearwood at the front gate near the office
• Yelm City Park - corner of Mosman & 1st

Just a reminder that this program is here to support children under 18 who receive free or reduced-price meals during the school year, helping make sure they have access to food throughout the summer. 1 bag per child. Please bring your children to pick up their bags. 💛
We reserve the right to limit bags.

Our hallways are coming alive, classrooms are ready, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our Cougars, Mountain Lions, and Mountaineers back for another great year! 🏫✨

🌧️ LOCATION CHANGE FOR TOMORROW'S WELCOME BACK BBQ! 🍔

Due to rainy and windy weather in the forecast, we are moving the Community Hot Dog BBQ indoors to keep everyone warm and dry!

New Location: Rainier Elementary School Cafeteria

Date: Wednesday, September 2

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The weather might not be cooperating, but we are still excited to come together and celebrate the start of the new school year!
