However if you have items to donate for our thrift store, HOPE Chest, kindly bring your items directly to the thrift store located at 107 E 1st St. and not the food pantry.
Also please call ahead of donating 503-556-4159 to make sure that we have room for your donations that day.

Here are the 2026 income eligibility guidelines for Oregon food pantries based on household size. As you can see, they are very generous compared to Snap or health benefit eligibility amounts. We encourage anyone in Rainier who qualifies to come see us if you are in need of food. Sometimes just a little bit of help can allow ends to meet better or free up funds for an unexpected circumstance.

Our days and hours are:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 10A.M. to 4P.M.

You are welcome to call the food pantry if you have any questions. Please leave a message if we don't answer, and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

We are happy to be able to offer EXPANDED PRODUCE+ BOXES
Adequate supplies of some stock items in the pantry are allowing us to expand the selections for our regular PRODUCE+ boxes. A produce+ box is in addition to the one full box, all clients can have two PRODUCE+ boxes every month as well as their full box. These can be done on weeks you don’t do your full box order.
Here’s what you can now receive in PRODUCE+ boxes at this time:

any fresh produce available
choices from soups/canned meals
canned beans
dried beans
1 dozen eggs (when available)
1 dairy item or 1% shelf milk (when available)
1 greens item (when available)
1 bread/bakery item
Items available from the shelf and cooler in the hall; and the outside basket will still be available as well.

As usual our hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 10-4 and the last Saturday of each month from 10-12.
