Tire Collection is coming soon, round up all the ones that are worn out and taking up your space. Also, gather up all the discarded ones that you see in creeks or that have been thrown out, littering our road banks and empty lots. They are providing breeding grounds for mosquitoes! If you hit your limit bring a friend who can bring 10 more! Lets get these eyesores out of our community no one likes to see them.

Rainelle Water Department is repairing a large main line leak, in front of the Methodist Church along Kanawha Ave. use caution in this area. Customers to the east of the leak will not have water for a period of time.

We need to clear up some confusion about the Litter Sweep that people have seen on Town Halls digital sign. It was to recruit volunteers to pick up debris. We are not having a spring cleanup for residents to put items on the curb for the trash department.

Police Officer Town of Rainelle.

The Town of Rainelle West Virginia will be accepting applications for a full time Police Officer. Applicants MUST be certified through the West Virginia State Police Academy and must be currently active with the required in service hours. All Applicants must have a valid WV Driver's License and be able to pass a drug test, physical examination, psychological exam and other required prerequisites.

Initial applications will be accepted at Town Hall. The Town of Rainelle is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

If you haven't noticed the buzz around the Rainelle Community Center, things are in motion. Thanks to Mayor Andy and community leaders, in the near future we will see a community center open. The greatest thing is that NO tax dollars are being spent for the renovations. Things are moving in our community and we at the Police Department are excited for the growth.
