Today, a local Ragland family lost everything in a devastating house fire. We are asking our community to come together and help them begin the process of rebuilding. Any donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes, or other essential items are greatly appreciated.

✅ ROADWAY UPDATE – AL Highway 144 REOPENED ✅

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while emergency responders and utility crews worked to safely clear the scene following the earlier traffic accident.

Please continue to drive safely and remain alert while traveling through the area. Thank you for your support.

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT – ROAD CLOSURE 🚨

AL Highway 144 at the Water Treatment Plant in the 6000 block is closed until further notice due to a traffic accident.

Power lines are down and blocking the roadway, making the area unsafe for travel. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route until the roadway can be safely reopened.

Emergency personnel and utility crews are on scene working to clear the roadway and restore safe conditions.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Please slow down, avoid the area, and watch for emergency responders.

We appreciate the opportunity to come together, collaborate, and discuss ways to continue strengthening partnerships and enhancing public safety throughout St. Clair County. Thank you for your hospitality and continued support of law enforcement across our communities.

Pops with Cops at Ragland Elementary School!

The Ragland Police Department was proud to host “Pops with Cops” at Ragland Elementary School! Our officers enjoyed spending time with the students while handing out popsicles and sharing smiles as we get closer to summer break.

Events like these help strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and our community’s youth, and we are thankful for the opportunity to connect with such amazing students and staff.

A special thank you to Ragland Elementary School for allowing us to be part of this fun event! We look forward to continuing to serve and support our community.

Don’t forget Pops with Cops is coming up on May 7th at Ragland Elementary School!

Flyers will be going home with students this week, so be on the lookout for more details. This is a great opportunity for our officers to connect with students while supporting a fun cause.

For just $1, students can enjoy a popsicle, and all proceeds will benefit Ragland School.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and appreciate your continued support of our community! 💙

Fun for everyone!! We will be having an open house at our First Responder Building as well with the Ragland Police Department , Ragland Fire Department and Ragland Rescue Service. Prizes for our young Ragland citizens as well!! We can’t wait to see everyone there!! Rally FOR Ragland!!

The Ragland High School Band delivered a wonderful performance at Town Hall today for our senior citizens and town employees.

We sincerely appreciate the time, effort, and dedication these students and their directors put into sharing their musical talents with our community. Their performance was enjoyed by all in attendance and provided a meaningful opportunity for fellowship and appreciation.

On behalf of the Town of Ragland, thank you to the band members and leadership for making this event both memorable and special.
