Our local youth headed to the FFA Camp Center at White Lake yesterday evening for the Cape Fear Chicken Show. A huge shoutout to Madison for her incredible performance in the Senior Division:
🥇 1st Place – Senior Project Record Book
🏅 5th Place – Senior Showing

This project is no small feat! These students raised their chicks, attended Zoom trainings, and meticulously documented their journey in record books before finally stepping into the ring.

Hoke County showed up in force with 16 4-H youth and 10 FFA students participating. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication these young leaders poured into their projects!

After the incredible success of our cancer pillow project last year, the Co-op Quilt Club and Hoke County 4-H are back at it! This year, we are assembling toiletry kits for local organizations during the Lumber River United Way Day of Caring on May 15.

We need YOUR help to reach our goal! We are looking for donations of:
🪥 Toothpaste (1.9oz)
💈 Combs (5-6" long)
🧼 Travel size soap
✨ Travel size deodorant

📍 Drop-off location: Robert A Wright Hoke County Agriculture Building, 645 E Palmer Street, Raeford.
