The mission of Peter's Place is to provide safe and supportive environments for grieving children and families and act as a community resource to foster understanding of the effects of death and grief. “Me and my cousin are very different with our grief. I was very nervous coming to Peter's Place because I knew no one here, and he’s been coming for a while,” a Child Group Participant shared. “But as soon as I came in, there were other kids that were very nice to me. Everyone was accepting. Everyone just listens.” ⭐💚

This is why we do what we do. Support Peter’s Place today to help ensure we’re here for the next child who needs a place to grieve, connect, and feel understood. https://petersplaceonline.org/giving-day-26/

What started as a gathering of family and friends around a Thanksgiving table in 1999, envisioning a way to honor the memory of Peter Morsbach, grew into something much more: a place where grieving children and families could find comfort, hope, and healing.

For 25 years, a community of families, volunteers, donors, schools, and supporters has helped Peter’s Place grow and thrive. Together, we’ve created a community where grieving children know they are not alone. Today, we’re honoring our past and shaping our future, together. We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey and excited for all that’s ahead.

If you haven't already done so today, please take a moment to visit our website to learn more about the ways you can support Peter’s Place as we celebrate 25 years and throughout our Giving Day Weekend. ⭐💚 https://petersplaceonline.org/giving-day-26/

Peter’s Place opened its doors for the first time in 2001 to 17 children grieving the loss of someone important to them. 25 years later, we have served more than 20,000 children, teens, and adults at our Radnor center and in schools and communities across the Greater Philadelphia Area.

In honor of our anniversary, support our Giving Day Weekend by purchasing an item from our Wish List by tomorrow night. Your gift will help us prepare for the new program year and continue serving more grieving children and families—free of charge—for years to come. ⭐💚 https://petersplaceonline.org/giving-day-26/
