This is important work that impacts individuals, our employers and our communites.
What if recovery and workforce development worked together, by design?
In our newest podcast episode, we talk with Andrew Howard (Fletcher Group, Connect Appalachia ARISE*) and Mark Cruise (STRONG ACC) about how recovery ecosystems are transforming communities across Appalachia.
We explore how recovery-ready and second-chance employment practices are helping employers fill workforce gaps, why meaningful work is critical to long-term recovery, and what it really takes to reduce stigma and build cross-state systems that work for people and businesses.
If you care about workforce innovation, public health, or regional collaboration—this conversation is worth your time.
