We are proud to announce a major milestone for health and wellness in Radcliff!

The City of Radcliff was thrilled to celebrate the ribbon-cutting yesterday for the new Baptist Health Hardin Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) on Centennial Drive.

This unique, multimillion-dollar facility marks an incredible investment in our residents' health, bringing world-class, accessible care right to our backyard. The campus features an Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Primary Care, and advanced imaging services, combining emergency and routine medical needs under one roof.

Some services, including the ER, will officially open to patients starting Monday.

A heartfelt thank you to Baptist Health Hardin and President Rob Ramey for their visionary leadership, continued partnership with our city, and ongoing commitment to strengthening healthcare access across Northern Hardin County and our surrounding communities.

On this Patriot Day, the City of Radcliff pauses to remember the innocent lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary acts of courage demonstrated on Sept. 11, 2001.

As a community proudly neighboring Fort Knox, this day hits close to home. We honor not only the bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger in New York City, Shanksville, PA, and Washington, D.C., but also the military personnel and families within our own community who were connected to those serving at the Pentagon that fateful day and the family connected to Flight 93. In the years following, our service members continuously answered the call to defend our freedom with quiet resolve.

In honoring their legacy, we are reminded of how we choose to move forward together as a nation:

“If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate.”
— Sandy Dahl (Wife of Flight 93 Pilot Jason Dahl)

Today, let us reject bitterness and instead honor the fallen through unity, kindness, and service to one another. We extend our deepest gratitude to our local first responders, our active-duty military, our veterans, and their families.

We will Never Forget.
