To every single person that supported my campaign for Racine County Executive, put up yard signs, wrote postcards, shared our messaging online, and believed in me: Thank You.
I’m incredibly proud of everything my campaign team accomplished and although we came up short in this election by just 55 votes, it’s overwhelmingly clear that Ralph Malicki will become Racine County’s next Executive.
Over the weekend I met with Ralph and we discussed what the future of Racine County can look like. I’m encouraged that under his leadership the county will continue to move forward into the future, while still honoring the legacy of the late Jonathan Delagrave, and for that reason he has my full support.
I’m not a republican and I’m not a democrat; and neither is Racine County. This is a county that’s beautifully diverse and made up of people from all walks of life: from the inner city of Racine to the sod farms in Wind Lake. I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Racine County, the county that I love and call home.
