Beginning in 2027, Medicaid eligibility reviews may move from once per year to twice per year for certain participants.

While this may sound like a simple administrative change, it could significantly increase the risk of losing coverage because of missed paperwork, outdated addresses, or missed deadlines.

Many people lose coverage not because they are no longer eligible, but because paperwork was incomplete or deadlines were missed.
