BeLEAF is Hiring!
We're looking for a caring and motivated Part-Time SCAN Prevention Educator to join our team!
In this role, you’ll visit classrooms to teach child abuse prevention lessons to PreK, Kindergarten, and 2nd Grade students. The position is flexible and averages 16 hours per week over the course of the year; however, most of the work takes place during the school year, with minimal hours during the summer. It’s a meaningful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a real difference in the community.

What. A. Night!!!! BeLEAF Survivors, Inc. Stop Child Abuse and Neglect- SCAN was one of 30 lucky winners of the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Heart of Canal Street drawing last night!

The casino's Heart of Canal Street program is now in its 30th year. The name comes, of course, from the casino's location on Canal Street. Through the year, the casino helps raise money for charitable organizations across our southeastern Wisconsin. Then, 30 local nonprofits are awarded an even split of the grand total in a random drawing.

With a total pot of more than $664,000, each winning organization will get just over $22,000. Over the program's 30 years, they've benefited more than 350 nonprofits, raising more than $21 million.

BIG, BIG, BIG thanks to Potawatomi Hotel and Casino for all of the community support over the years, and especially the financial support to help prevent child abuse & neglect in Racine County through SCAN.
