Big things start with a plan! Operation Holiday Heroes 2026-2027 planning is officially underway!

Some of our planning committee members met today to officially kick off the planning for this year's Operation Holiday Heroes event.

It's never too early to start planning, and we're already excited about what's ahead. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing community partners who helped make last year's event such a success.

This year, we hope to see even more community members, busienesses, and organizations get involved as we work together to make Operation Holiday Heroes bigger and better than ever!

It is official! We are open! Appointments can be made by calling (606) 388-4200. Walk-in patients are welcome! Primary care walk-in visits are available Sunday - Friday from 8 am - 8 pm. Orthopedic walk-in visits are Mondays 8 am - 3 pm with Dr. Robert Love and Wednesdays from 1-3 pm and Fridays from 8 - 9 am with Dr. Joseph Leith.

A HISTORIC DAY FOR RACELAND!

What an incredible day for our community as we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new SOMC Raceland Family Practice & Specialty Associates Facility!

The turnout was tremendous, spirits were high, and there was a genuine sense of gratitude and excitement from everyone involved. Today was more than the opening of a new healthcare facility—it was another important step forward for the City of Raceland.

I am truly honored and privileged to have been a part of this historic moment. This facility now stands on a piece of property that had remained undeveloped for nearly 100 years, and today it represents progress, opportunity, and a renewed investment in the future of our community.

Raceland is on the move, and we look forward to welcoming even more businesses and organizations that are community-minded, invest in our city, and serve the needs of our citizens.

None of these accomplishments happen alone. We are at our best when we work together, and the SOMC Raceland Family Practice & Specialty Associates is a wonderful example of what can be accomplished through partnership, cooperation, and a shared vision.

On behalf of our city, welcome to Raceland, SOMC! We are proud to have you as part of our community and look forward to many successful years ahead.
