📚 As of Monday, the QES Media Center is officially up and running! 📚

To say our students are EXCITED about getting into the Media Center and finding their next great book would be an understatement! There’s just something special about watching a child search the shelves, find a book that catches their attention, and get excited about reading. ❤️📖

As Dr. Seuss reminded us, “The more that you read, the more things you will know.”

Our goal is to help our students develop not only the skills to become great readers, but also a love for reading that can last a lifetime. Every book opens the door to a new adventure, a new idea, and another opportunity to learn!

Before last night’s football game, Brooks County Schools took time to celebrate and recognize our outstanding **Teachers of the Year** from across the district!

QES was especially proud to recognize **Ms. Kristy Malone as our **2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!** 🎉 We are so proud of Ms. Malone and the incredible work she does each day for our students and our school. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to making a difference are just a few of the reasons she represents QES so well!

QES had an amazing week of Pre-Planning, mixed in with a little fun and topped off with an incredible Open House! Our faculty and staff have worked hard preparing classrooms, making plans, building relationships, and getting everything ready to welcome our students back.

Seeing so many of our students and families at Open House was the perfect way to wrap up a great week. To say we’re excited for our students to return would be an understatement!

We are ready for another amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together!
