Just before we got out for Summer Break, Ms. Allen found the hidden Mystery “X” and won a fantastic gift basket from Legacy Outfitters in Dixie, GA! 🎉

Today, we want to give a very special send-off to six outstanding students as they transition to the next chapter at Brooks County Middle School (BCMS).

Three years ago, when Quitman Elementary School began our Leader In Me journey, we knew we needed a strong foundation. These six students helped us build it. As members of our very first Lighthouse Team, they have been by QES administration’s side from the very beginning.

They have guided tours, provided meaningful input pertaining to our school, led assemblies, modeled leadership habits, and represented QES with pride and excellence. They did not just participate — they set the standard. Their leadership, responsibility, and heart for our school have helped shape the culture we are so proud of today.

To say we will miss them would be an understatement. Their presence has made a lasting impact, and we truly will have big shoes to fill.

Thank you, Micah, Aaryn, Jewel, Jordyn, Maggie, and Judson, for the dedication and effort you have poured into making QES the special place that it is. We cannot wait to see how you continue to lead at BCMS.

We wrapped up the last day of school the best way possible- playing our favorite games, laughing with friends, and enjoying refreshing drinks from Ms. McCall’s hydration station! 🎉

Congratulations to Kaizer Butts, the winner of our April/May PBIS Raffle. Kaizer is a fourth grade student in Mrs. Brown’s class. She works hard to show BCS pride. Kaizer used her PBIS points to participate in our monthly raffle. Kaizer won a basket filled with goodies to enjoy during Summer Break! Congratulations Kaizer!

Today we rode in style as we celebrated the students who earned a Limo Ride and Lunch with Mr. Price! 🚘✨

These outstanding students excelled in Accelerated Reader this year and were rewarded for their dedication and hard work. We are so proud of David Alvarez, Caroline Knight, Andrew Overy, Neva Mitchell, Antwawn Gray, Alice Petrella, Nicholas Johnson, and Dekoven Walls for setting the bar high and finishing strong!

A huge shoutout to Stephen's McGhee Funeral Home for providing the ride and helping make this experience so special for our students. Your support means so much to our school community!

Hard work pays off at QES — and today was proof! 💙📚
