Our storm shelter is open and will remain open until this severe weather event is over.

Please have a way of getting alerts for warnings.

We do allow pets but under certain conditions. Dogs MUST be restrained with a leash. We CANNOT risk aggressive dogs or the space for multiple ones especially large dogs as we need the room for families coming to take shelter. Our first priority is to protect human life. Although we do understand that animals are family. Cats MUST be in a crate that is secure.

Please do not block the entrance to the shelter by parking infront of the door.

Our shelter is located at our station off Highway 269.

The severe thunderstorm warning on November 25th produced a tornado that the line shows originated in our coverage area with no tornado warning or watch in place. Would you seek shelter at our local storm shelter for a severe thunderstorm warning or would you be more inclined to only seek shelter at the community storm shelter during an actual tornado warning?
