All Memorial Day ground flowers and decorations at Quinton Cemetery must be picked up before Tuesday June 9, 2026 in order for the cemetery to be mowed. Cemetery personnel will dispose of items that are left on the ground and not picked up. Saddles on head stones and flowers in vases WILL NOT be removed.

Hard Work, Dedication to Basketball Leads to All-State Selection for Purdom

Quinton senior Alexis Purdom didn’t get the ending she had envisioned for her final high school season, but her resilience and body of work still earned her one of the state’s top honors.
On March 27, Purdom was named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association (OGBCA) Small School All-State East Team, which recognizes top players across Classes 2A, A, BI and BII. Competing in Class A, she was one of 17 athletes selected statewide and one of just three from her class, alongside Allen’s Addison Prentice and Cherish Woodward.

Our Annual Easter egg hunt is coming up soon. If you would like to donate any eggs, candy, prizes or bicycles for the age groups we would appreciate it greatly. Donations can be dropped off at Farmers State Bank or contact us to make a pick up.
