With summer fast approaching, please take a look at this flyer to ensure summer safety.

Hot and humid weather can be dangerous — especially for older adults, young children, pets, and those with medical conditions. Stay safe during extreme heat by drinking plenty of water, limiting time outdoors, and taking breaks in cool or air-conditioned spaces. Indoor air-conditioned spaces are available at the various branches of the Thomas Crane Public Library https://tcplquincy.org/visit/locations/ and the Kennedy Center, located at 440 E. Squantum St.

Don’t forget your pets — keep them hydrated and never leave them in a parked car.

Annual Census Reminder!

Voters that have not responded to the 2026 street listing (census) by June 1st, 2026 will be designated as "INACTIVE" on the voting rolls. Inactive voters remain registered to vote until they fail to vote in two consecutive biennial state elections. Inactive voters are restored to the active voters list any time they complete an Affirmation of Current and Continuous Residence, fill out a new voter registration form, or submit anything to their local election official which is signed under penalty of perjury and confirms the voter's address.

To obtain a blank census form, please visit https://www.quincyma.gov/census/index.php
