The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners welcomes and encourages public participation at all meetings of the
Board. Citizens are free to speak for up to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items. Public comments and participation is also
encouraged for items on the agenda.
Additionally, if you are unable to attend a meeting in person, comments from the Public can also be submitted via email
to [email protected] until noon on the date of the meeting. Comments submitted after the deadline,
but before the meeting, will be added to the official record. Still, the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff
will have adequate time to review comments before the meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing assistance in obtaining any information from the
County or virtually attending the public meeting should contact Gadsden County Public Information by calling 850-875-
8671 or emailing [email protected] at least 2 hours before the meeting.
If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at
such public meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose he/she may need to insure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence to which the appeal is to be
heard.
