We had the pleasure of attending Chaddock Children's Foundation's Rose Tea this week, celebrating both Chaddock’s children, the legacy of Samantha, and the impact of The Sammy Fund Group 🦋.

Created in her honor, the Samantha Otte Youth Opportunity Fund at the Community Foundation has awarded over 400 grants totaling more than $709,000 to nonprofit organizations serving children in our community.

As the saying goes, "love grows when you share it." Congratulations to Chaddock and everyone carrying Samantha's legacy forward for local kids and families.

The Samantha Otte Youth Opportunity Fund was established to honor Samantha’s spirit by giving back to the areas she loved most: the arts, leadership, and service. Since the beginning, the fund has helped countless young people in Quincy grow, learn, and lead.

We're proud to celebrate the Marion County Endowment Fund Council's 12th year of grantmaking, supporting local nonprofits and the causes our community cares about. We're so grateful for the incredible nonprofits doing important work every day to make Marion County a better place.

As council chair Lydia Ahrens shared: "Every grant we award traces back to a donor who believed Marion County's future was worth investing in."

Thank you to our generous donors for making this impact possible!
