First established as the Frederick Ball Center in 1945 and later changed to the current name in honor of two outstanding community leaders that lived and worked in Quincy, it has evolved today into a multi-faceted Community-Based Not-for-
Profit organization. As a neighborhood center, the Redmon and Lee Association currently provides services for parents and other adults as well as activities for children and youth. Activities for adults include education, sports, recreation, culturally specific programming, support for parental employment, opportunities to volunteer, inter-generational activities, support for families, computer literacy training and access to the internet.
