Good morning, all

So this morning's storms is changing the weather forecast significantly for the rest of today.

The line of storms is acting almost like a cold front, and driving all of the instability and dynamics well to our south. The latest model runs shows all of the indices that were focused over our area now placed down around the I-44 corridor in Missouri. Quite the change.

With this setup, I find it hard for any redevelopment to occur later this afternoon ahead of the main cold front. That was the time frame where we could see the stronger storms. The cold front still has to push through, and a few thunderstorms could develop, but again, the major ingredients for that "tornado outbreak" that was advertised for the last week are not there.

With all this said, I'm not turning my back on this afternoon, but I am not as anxious about the higher threat of severe weather. We could still see something but not nearly as bad as previously thought.

Will post more updates as info comes in.

We have been watching the cells progressing through the county for the past hour. So far, nothing major, but storms are still developing to our Southwest. Stay advised.

Make sure to raise your volume up as I cannot speak very loudly today.

Watching the time period between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the chance for a severe storm in our area. Stay weather aware for today!!!
