Update as of 9/7/26 - Power has been restored to the affected services out of the Woodville Substation. This outage was caused by a tree on the line.

As of 9/7/26 at 12:30AM: We are currently experiencing an outage affecting approximately 926 of 2,223 services fed from the Woodville Substation. Know what to do!

If someone is being shocked by live electricity, never touch the person or the electrical source. For an indoor accident, shut off the power at the circuit breaker if you can safely do so.

If someone is in contact with a live outdoor wire, stay back, call 911, and contact Talquin at 888-802-1832 (live operator) immediately so we can safely disconnect power.

Today is !
As you head outdoors for some fun, remember to play it safe around substations and other electrical equipment. Keep these important safety tips in mind:
⚡ Never enter a substation or fenced electrical area—even to retrieve a ball, toy or other item.
🪁 Keep kites, drones and other flying objects far away from substations and power lines.
🚫 Never climb or reach over substation fences.
👀 If you see something unsafe near electrical equipment, keep your distance and contact us for help.

Update as of 9/2/26 10:15PM: Services have been restored. Affected services may experience low water pressure and/or some discoloration as pressure rebuilds.

As of 8/31/26 at 12:30PM Attention Members of the LAKE JACKSON WATER SYSTEM

There is a planned water outage on September 2, 2026, from 8am-5pm to for the replacement of 4 water valves at 1801-1925 Sageway Drive and Icicle Hill Road.

The water will be off in the affected area from 8 AM to 5 PM. As a result, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice will be in effect once services have been restored. Approximately 34 water services can expect service interruptions.
