Warren County has posted the traffic pattern for this year. Please remember to get there early! Remember, this is a county airport, there are only a couple of country roads in and out, each launch attracts on average 30,000 with over 50,000 Saturday night for the launch and the glow! Plan to come early! There are plenty of food vendors, festival merchandise, kids activities, the train is back, art show, craft show and musical performances while you wait for the balloons! Remember, NO dogs/pets, NO drones, NO smoking (including E-Cigarettes), NO golf carts and NO e-bikes!

Town of Queensbury offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th for regular business hours.

The Jenkinsville Community Water Project is making great progress! Approximately 10,000 of 21,000 linear feet of water main has been installed, with work complete on Mud Pond Road, Azure Drive and Rainbow Drive, and about 80% complete on Jenkinsville Road.

Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Town of Queensbury scheduled their annual cleanup of Hovey Pond and Halfway Brook for Friday, August 28!

The clean-up will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 1 to 3 PM, starting at Hovey Pond Park on Lafayette Street with a brief introduction to the MS4 program and a review of our goals for this community effort.

Warren County NY Public Health staff will be on hand to talk about tick disease trends, how the insects spread disease, offer tick prevention tips, and more!
