Calling all Organization Pros!

We are seeking volunteers for The Great Basement Blitz! Help us sort, stack, discard and streamline our storage space to better serve the Far Rockaway community.

If you have a knack for organizing (or just enjoy a good transformation project), come spend a few hours with us. Your time helps ensure we can get resources to those who need them most, more efficiently than ever.

The UM Center in Far Rockaway recognizes and gives thanks to Mrs. Daffnie Marinez for her participation in Food Bank’s FY26 Borough Chat Series with the Queens Borough Chat! The event was held in Flushing at St. Michael’s Church. The day gathered Queens member agency leaders, Food Bankers, and external organizations to discuss, share resources, and make new connections.
