🌟 A Heartwarming Visit from Senator Joe Addabbo at Happy Seniors Adult Day Care Center! 🌟
Yesterday, we were truly honored to welcome Senator Joe Addabbo to the Happy Seniors Adult Day Care Center. His visit brought an outpouring of joy and a sense of unity that reminded us all of the power of community. Through his warm interactions with our seniors, Senator Addabbo created an atmosphere filled with gratitude, appreciation, and a deep sense of connection.
At Happy Seniors, we believe that our elderly deserve more than just care—they deserve to feel valued, needed, and included. Our center is a safe, supportive space where seniors can not only enjoy enriching activities but also foster intergenerational relationships that bridge the gap between generations. These connections allow our seniors to feel like they still have an important place in society, while also offering younger generations the wisdom and perspective that only our elders can provide.
A special thank you to Amisha Gandhi, the heart and soul of the Happy Seniors Adult Day Care Center, whose passion and unwavering dedication to the South Ozone Park community make all of this possible. Amisha's commitment to ensuring that every senior feels loved, valued, and supported is what drives the center’s mission, and her leadership is inspiring.
By coming together with community leaders like Senator Addabbo, Pastor Bakus, Prof Madrid and The Cottontail Corner’s Elizabeth De Jesus, we create lasting bonds that help ensure our seniors are not forgotten, but are celebrated, heard, and appreciated for all they’ve contributed and continue to offer. Providing exercise, self-care and support, the seniors are able to thrive in their community environments like the churches and places of worship.
