The Big Tin Cotton Gin and Event Center

The Big Tin Cotton Gin and Event Center Welcome to the historic Big Tin Cotton Gin, Queen Creek's oldest renovated gin from the 1930s. We’d love to host you!

Rustic charm meets modern elegance in our indoor/outdoor space overlooking San Tan Valley, perfect for a variety of events & gatherings. The Big Tin Cotton Gin (originally known as the Magma Cotton Gin). A fully operational gin up until the time it was purchased by the current owners. Their family used to farm in the area and grew up in and around this gin - when it was offered for sale they jumpe

d at the chance to keep a piece of local history alive. It is one of the few cotton gins left standing in Arizona. The Big Tin Cotton Gin is truly a one of a kind venue.

Phase 1 is officially complete - and now Phase 2 begins. QT is on site conducting due diligence, testing and evaluating everything ahead of the full teardown of the Big Tin Cotton Gin. This next step is critical in this process.

We had an incredible amount of support in Phase 1, and we’re going to need even more help moving forward. If you or someone you know wants to get involved - whether through labor, resources, or financial support - we’d love to connect.

Let’s keep this project moving.

Phase 2 of moving the Big Tin Cotton Gin is coming soon.

We’ll soon begin the teardown of the Big Tin Cotton Gin, carefully taking the building apart piece by piece so it can be relocated and preserved for the future.

We’re also excited to share that we officially own the gin building and the coffee shop, which means this project will continue to move forward.

Most of the work - and much of the cost - is being handled by us and an incredible group of volunteers. We also now have a GoFundMe page and Zelle in place for anyone who wants to give a gift to help with teardown and relocation costs.

We’ll announce the official Phase 2 start date soon, and when we do, we’ll need helping hands.

If you’d like to support the project, please share or repost this reel so more people can see it and be part of saving the Big Tin Cotton Gin.

Phase 1 is almost officially wrapped (work ends Sunday) - HUGE thanks to everyone who helped us get the Big Tin Cotton Gin ready for its next chapter! 🙏

Now it’s time for Phase 2: moving the actual building! 🏗️ This is the big moment, and we’ll announce the exact date once QT’s team finishes what they need to do this month.

We’ll need all hands on deck, and your support means the world. If you’d like to help or contribute, check out our GoFundMe “Help Relocate the Big Tin Cotton Gin” - link in bio. 💛

The Big Tin Cotton Gin may not be a designated historic landmark - but it is a part of Queen Creek’s story.

It’s weddings. Gun shows. Small businesses. Family milestones. A place thousands of people walked through and made memories in.

We want to be clear:

We did not own the land.
We did not make the sale.

But we are choosing to fight for the building itself.

Right now, we are working to relocate the entire structure - ourselves. No big developers. No large preservation grants. Just people who believe this place still matters.

We’re doing everything we can to carefully move it, preserve it, and give it a new home so its story doesn’t end here.

This is about community history - not paperwork.

If you believe some places are worth saving, stand with us. Share this. Follow the journey. Be part of what comes next.

Big changes are happening.

We’re officially preparing to move The Big Tin Cotton Gin from its Queen Creek location - but before relocation can begin, we have to complete a full teardown of the structure, and we can’t do it alone.

This historic Arizona cotton gin has been more than just a building. It’s been a wedding venue, event space, community hub, gun show location, market venue, and gathering place for Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Mesa, Globe, and the greater Phoenix area. Thousands of memories have been made inside these walls.

Now we’re asking the community to step in and help us protect what matters.

Our mission is to preserve and relocate this iconic piece of Arizona history so it can continue serving future generations. Teardown, logistics, equipment, and relocation costs add up quickly - and every bit of support helps move this project forward.

Here’s how you can help:
- Contribute toward teardown and moving expenses via our gofundme link
- Partner with us as a local business supporter
- Share thus post to help us reach the right people
- Reach out if you’re able to assist during teardown

Every contribution, connection, and share helps us move one step closer to reopening in a new location.

If you believe in preserving meaningful places, supporting local Arizona businesses, and keeping community gathering spaces alive in Phoenix, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

📲 Visit the link in our bio or contact us directly to get involved.

This isn’t the end of The Big Tin Cotton Gin - it’s the beginning of its next chapter.

The time has come — this is the final week of The Big Tin Cotton Gin at our Queen Creek location. While we’re sad to close this chapter, we’re excited about what’s ahead. Our goal is to carefully move this beautiful piece of history so it can continue to be part of our community for years to come.
To make that happen, we need your help.

If you’ve celebrated a special event with us, created memories here, or simply feel connected to this place, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether you’re helping because you’re sad to see us go or because you believe in what we’re building next, every contribution truly makes a difference.

Please call us or scan the QR code to learn how you can help. No amount is too small — and every bit of support means the world to us.

Thank you to each and every person who has been part of our journey. We couldn’t have done this without you.
