Welcome to Newell Barney Junior High School, located on the northeast corner of Sossaman and Riggs located in beautiful Queen Creek just an hour away from metropolitan Phoenix. We are a 7th & 8th-grade school in the Queen Creek Unified School District. We are dedicated to providing quality education to all students. y translates into student success. Students on our campus have many activities to choose from, and we encourage them to get involved in extracurricular events. From clubs to athletics, performing arts groups, and technology, we know every student can find something to interest them. “What I love most about Newell Barney College Prep is the sense of community. We are close, a supportive group that truly looks out for one another, and I feel that daily, as both a teacher and a parent with my son attending here. I also value the opportunities to connect with students beyond the classroom through coaching and clubs. These experiences allow me to build strong relationships and help students feel a sense of belonging. Overall, I feel supported here and I’m grateful to be part of a community where everyone is valued.”
