San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms is a family-owned, perpetual care cemetery. The cemetery has been serving families for 10 years and is non-affiliated with any mortuary or funeral home. This means the cemetery serves families across the valley regardless of which funeral home they select to prepare their loved one's for their final resting place. Schnepf Farms owner Mark Schnepf, whose family has owned the 300-acre farm in Queen Creek, AZ for over 80 years, said his father talked of building a cemetery on the property in the 1970s, but "never got around to doing that." As a former mayor of Queen Creek, Mark knew the community always needed a cemetery, but since the value of land was only going up decided to donate a portion of the family farm for the creation of the first cemetery in the Southeast Valley - San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms. Whether your visit out to the property is for immediate need or Advance Planning, the cemetery has licensed and dedicated family counselors ready to assist you and your family according to your wishes. There is never any pressure or obligation to purchase anything at San Tan Memorial Gardens. The staff serves strictly according to your needs and wishes - nothing more, nothing less.

No. San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms is not affiliated with any one funeral home.

Families are welcome to choose the funeral home that best fits their needs, and our staff can coordinate with funeral homes throughout the Valley to help make arrangements as smooth as possible.

🎉 Celebrating Sylvia's Work Anniversary!

Today we’re celebrating a very special member of our San Tan Memorial Gardens family! Sylvia joined our team in 2019, and over the years, she has become someone our staff and so many of the families we serve have come to know and appreciate.

Sylvia has a wonderful way of making people feel comfortable and cared for. She is patient, kindhearted, and always willing to take the extra time to listen, answer questions, or simply sit with a family when they need it most. Those qualities can’t be taught, and we’re incredibly thankful she chooses to share them with the families who walk through our doors.

Happy work anniversary, Sylvia! Thank you for seven years of compassion, friendship, laughter, and for caring so deeply about the people we serve. We’re lucky to have you! ❤️
