Marine Corps History Division is coming to MCI-Pacific for a Staff Assist Visit across Hawaii, Okinawa, and Japan from 27 May – 8 June 2026. This is your opportunity to ensure your command’s legacy is preserved for future generations of Marines.

Topics Include: Command Chronologies, Lineage & Honors, and the Oral History Program.

Whether you’re tracking operations, preserving unit achievements, or capturing the voices of Marines shaping today’s fight — this visit is built to help your command tell its story the right way.

The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation and Marine Corps History Division welcome applications for this year’s Lieutenant Colonel Lily H. Gridley Memorial Master’s Thesis Fellowship and General Lemuel C. Shepherd Jr. Memorial Dissertation Fellowship. These fellowships support emerging scholars whose research advances the study and understanding of Marine Corps history, values, and impact.
