📢New episode alert!📢

In today’s episode of Military Birth Talk, Anni speaks with Zatha who was Active Duty in the Marine Corps for her first birth, and then got out before her second birth. Even though she was Active Duty her first birth took place at a birth center due to low staffing at the military hospital where they were stationed, and then her second birth was a free birth at their home in Italy, where her husband is stationed with the Navy. She shares all about that progression from a more traditional birth within the system to what’s known as a wild pregnancy and free birth, with no interventions or medical establishment involvement.

Happy Holidays from all of us at the Military Birth Resource Network and Postpartum Coalition.

As we reflect on 2023, we have so much to be grateful for. We have grown our Coalition, added network members, recruited amazing ambassadors, and worked on a lot of policy. With these accomplishments came some disappointment as well. While we lost some major issues in the 2024 NDAA, we are proud of the way this group (you included!) came together and pushed for more support for growing families in the military. Legislators and other organizations have taken notice and with you alongside us, we know that this work will continue to grow and evolve. Thank you for your passion and commitment to our mission and we can’t wait for you to join us in or work for 2024.

Be on the lookout for some updates, events, and opportunities coming soon! Wishing you all an amazing holiday season and we’ll see you in 2024!

Military families sacrifice so many things and the Military Birth Resource Network & Postpartum Coalition wants to support these families. The struggles of military life are a constant challenge; moving from duty station to duty station, giving up holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries, enduring long deployments with little to no communication - and bringing new life into the world often without the presence of immediate family members.
With your help, MBRNPC can provide a community of support for these families through developing MBRNPC chapters on bases, and programs that provide support during pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and infant feeding.

MBRNPC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
