🚨 NOTICE: Atmos Energy Mobile Leak Detection Survey 🚨

Atmos Energy crews and contractors will be conducting a Mobile Leak Detection (AMLD) Survey in our community from May 29 through June 1 as part of their ongoing commitment to safety and system reliability.

Residents may notice white SUVs with flashing lights labeled with an Atmos Energy logo or “Utility Contractor” driving slowly through streets and alleys, primarily during nighttime hours. These vehicles use advanced technology to detect and map methane leaks within the natural gas distribution system.

If a natural gas leak is identified, crews will investigate and assess the situation. Hazardous leaks will be addressed immediately, while other leaks will be monitored and scheduled for repair in accordance with state and federal regulations.

This survey is a routine part of maintaining a safe and reliable natural gas system. Thank you for your cooperation as Atmos Energy works to ensure the safety of our community.
