🇺🇸 A day to remember. A day to honor. A day to never forget.

Today, our community came together to mark 25 years since September 11, 2001, and to honor the lives, courage, and sacrifice forever connected to that day.

Hosted by American Legion Post 242 Quakertown, the Patriots Day Ceremony gave our community a meaningful opportunity to pause and remember through the es**rt of the 9/11 Steel Memorial, a timeline of the attacks, personal testimonies, and a medical helicopter landing.

Twenty-five years later, the memories of that day remain with us. Coming together as a community gives us a chance to honor those we lost, recognize the courage of those who responded, and make sure their stories are never forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you to American Legion Post 242 and everyone who played a part in today's ceremony, from those who helped organize and coordinate the event to the veterans, first responders, speakers, participants, and community members who came together to make this day of remembrance so meaningful.

Due to the event, Main Street from Mill Street to Mill Road will be closed from approximately 10:00am to 4:00pm. Please plan accordingly and use an alternate route during this time.
