Happy !!! We wanted to share upcoming closures, news, and celebrate water safety with you all!

We will be closed for Spring Break from Sunday April 6th through Friday April 11th, there will be no programming or swim lessons during this annual closure.

Today is a day we celebrate all things water safety! We are very grateful to have been granted new lifejackets from the Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission Boating Department! This amazing grant lets us provide water safety education to our patrons, community, and swim lesson families. We have many fun activities planned throughout April and May to highlight ways families can safely enjoy the diverse and bountiful water our area contains.

This Friday during open swim (April 4th from 7:30-8:40pm) we will be offering demonstrations on how to fit your children to the correct size of lifejacket. This is our last open swim until Friday April 25th, due to our spring break closure next week and the ERHS Water Polo tournament on April 18th and 19th.

Today at swim lessons our instructors will be using the new lifejackets for the first time to focus on a few different safety topics. In addition to proper lifejacket fit and use, some of the safety topics we will be covering as part of our safety focus this month include safe usage of boats, canoes, and kayaks, the dangers of cold water, and "reach or throw, don't go".

Registration for our next rounds of swim lessons are this weekend! Registration for Tuesday and Thursday evening lessons will begin this Saturday, April 5th for classes beginning Tuesday April 15th. Registration for Saturday Morning session C will begin on Sunday, April 6th from classes running April 12th through June 7th with no class on May 24th for Memorial Day. Registration for both of these programs will go live at 8am through the Puyallup School District's online payment portal at https://wa-puyallup.intouchreceipting.com/signin. As a reminder, we are located under the "alternative" tab, we are not listed under "high school".

There will be no swim lessons or public programming this evening due to the inclement weather. Any time the school district cancels "all after school activities" that does include swim lessons. We will be closed to public programming for the holiday weekend, from Friday 2/14 through Monday 2/17. We will still be holding Saturday swim lessons on 2/15.

We will reschedule tonight's missed class on Tuesday March 4th. Pre-registration will still happen as planned on Thursday February 27th due to the previously published registration schedule. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

With our upcoming swim lesson registrations, we are also going to be running Saturday morning Springboard Dive Clinics from 3/2 to 4/13. There will be one from 9:00-10:05am for students 14-18 who will be in 9th grade or higher in the fall, and a youth introductory class from 10:10-10:40am. The high school class will be $132.12 for 7 days, and the youth dive class will be $66.06!

Registration will be done online only beginning this Sunday, 2/25/24, at 12:01am at https://wa-puyallup.intouchreceipting.com/signin. Once signed in with either a guest account or your existing InTouch/HAC account, they will select “Items at all Schools”, “ALTERNATIVE”, then “Rogers High School Pool”. You will then be able to select the dive class that is appropriate.

Our Winter Schedule has been up and running! If you are interested in coming into the facility to swim, please check out when we're open! The schedule has our Open and Lap Swim, Aqua Aerobics, and Drop-in Water Polo times, as well as the upcoming swim lesson schedule. There is also a list of anticipated closures, like Friday 2/26/24 for the SPSL League Dive Meet, this list is subject to change as events and maintenance require.

Please note, that as a school district facility, if school is closed for the day, the pool will be as well. We also close if school or all after school activities are cancelled due to inclement weather. We will be open if school is delayed and afterschool activities are not cancelled.

We are also in the process of syncing our calendar with the website! The calendar is located on the main Rogers Aquatic Center page and should be the most accurate list of daily activities.

Lessons registration for Tu/Th Evening Session 1 will begin at 12:01AM tonight! Log in at https://wa-puyallup.intouchreceipting.com/signin to register for all classes, including private lessons. Once logged in, you'll click on "Items at all schools" then "Alternative" then "Rogers High School Pool"! Double check you are selecting the right class for your child, and it will ask you questions like "Child's first and last name" and "Child's age", as the system does not always let you add individual children. Classes will be offered at 6:10, 6:45, and 7:20pm due to a shift in schedule with the 2023-2024 bell times. Classes begin Tuesday Nov. 14 and run until Tuesday Dec. 12, with no class on Thanksgiving.

If you are unable to secure a spot, please use the waitlist in each class to sign up as we anticipate adding a few more classes based on highest demand. 7:55pm Private lesson registration will all be done based on the waitlist for that class, we hope to add earlier private lessons later this year.

WE'RE BACK & will be open to the public 11/13!
We hope you all had a wonderful summer. With construction completed, we are excited for you to enjoy our newly remodeled pool again. We will be posting our schedule in the upcoming weeks.

We will be CLOSED Wednesday May 17th and Friday May 19th to host the Division 2 Water Polo Championship Tournament! There will be no open swim, lap swim, aerobics or drop-in polo on these days. We encourage you to buy a ticket and come watch some amazing water polo being played! Both Rogers and Puyallup's teams have made it to this post-season tournament and will be playing over the course of Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday!

We will be sad to miss you this summer while we are closed for repairs and improvements. Our last day for the spring will be Friday June 2nd. We encourage you to check out Puyallup High School's summer programs and swim lessons while we work to make the Rogers Aquatic Center an even better place to come enjoy the water!
