A WAR HERO

Two overseas deployments, 38 presidential missions, Fleet Weeks, and standby support for USNS COMFORT T-AH 20 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This dog has certainly earned her stripes.

Congratulations to military working dog Jessy on her retirement! During her nine year naval service she provided patrol and explosives detection services while assigned to NAS Key West. Thanks to her handler, MA1 Schellenger and his family, she will stay a part of our Navy family since they recently adopted her into her “fur-ever" home. 🐾
