Good morning! Just a reminder…we do have central air at PPC. Kids and staff are always cool! We also will not go outdoors this afternoon in the heat due to air quality. ☀️

Congrats to CADY as she graduates from Woodstock Academy tomorrow! Cady will be leaving us, so next week will be her last. We wish her all our best. New adventures are exciting 🎓

If you don’t “see” me and need something, just ask! I have been working longer days and am always around. I am now in the upstairs classroom, so you may not think I’m here. My summer hours are off on Wednesdays, but I usually end up working anyway (like this week)🤣

Exciting news! Sophia and Ava wrapped up their school year in FL with flying colors. So our very own Miss Makayla is heading back to spend some of the summer here. We are SUPER excited that she is wanting to sub too. Next week, Lexie is on vacation and Makayla will be working with Lauren n the Infant room. We can’t wait to see her smiling face ❤️

A picture update! For those of you that haven’t received your prints from picture day yet…they are coming. I don’t see the orders, so had no idea parents were waiting until a mom asked. I followed through with ECC and the box had shipped on May 4th (and then the 11th)!!! They are now going to resend to the PO Box instead of the address because I don’t get mail here. Thank you SO much for your patience 😊

Hi PPC family! Just a couple of notes as summer approaches. The next couple of weeks is going to be a challenging planning time. Some kids are sadly leaving us. New kids are joining us. A few school age kids are returning. Kids are transitioning to different classrooms. Then, of course, summer vacations will be happening.

Please try to stick to your schedules. There have been a lot of late leavers, throwing off staffing. I have NO problem with changes, but I need to know about them. It’s not fair for staff to work over their shifts because of lateness. For example, if your pick up time is 4:00, 4:45 is not okay without me planning.

Lastly, a request…if you are pulling into the parking lot fast enough to knock the top off my septic, please be more mindful. Almost every day I am having to put it back on. Much appreciated!!!

I have decided our three 3 week themes, beginning June 22. Water play will begin the first week of July (more info to come). Our themes will be:

Kids in the Kitchen, Under the Sea and Oh My Dinosaur!

Thinking ahead also - July 4th falls on a Saturday this year. The center will close on Friday, July 3rd, as that holiday is included in our policies. 🇺🇸
