Hi everyone! Just wanted to update you on staffing. Tomorrow we welcome LILY and AMY to our team.

Lily has five years experience at a child care center. She enjoys all age groups and is ready to jump right in. I have her working with Lexie this week because they know each other! It will be an easy fit. Amy comes to us as a high school senior. Children are naturally drawn to her and that’s how we all started too! Amy will be paired with infant and toddler staff to train this week.

Please help us make Lily and Amy feel welcome! We are always happy to have new staff on board to continue the PPC family.

Just a note…the summer of planning, giving staff time off, saying goodbye to students and welcoming a new school year can be very stressful. I love the challenges and excel at handling everything thrown at me. But now it’s my turn to take a little break! I will be away from the center beginning this Friday, returning next Thursday. Abby and Lexie will be in charge during my vacation. I will be checking emails daily. However, please CALL the center with any needs or updates you may have. What does a person do when looking for grown up time? They go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney of course!!! 🤣

For all our new parents…at PPC, we love to offer PICTURE DAY! These aren’t your usual “school” pictures. These are beautiful sessions that really capture your child’s personality. We use an amazing company out of RI called East Coast Capture. All children get their picture taken, siblings get theirs both individual and together. However, there is no obligation to purchase! You can choose a package, a couple sheets, photo items or nothing at all. For fall, we do holiday sessions to plan ahead. More details to come, but save the date…SEPTEMBER 25th at 8:00am. I will get backgrounds asap for you to plan clothing options 😊

Recently, I posted that we can once again have peanut products at the center. There was a comment made (by someone I don’t know) about confidentiality. I have blocked this person, as I do monitor my page closely.

If a child in my center has a life threatening allergy, I want EVERYONE to be aware. An innocent food share, baked item from home, simple touch after eating peanut items…all could have a devastating affect. We all work as a team to be safe. We all work to give parents the upmost confidence that there will be no issues while in our care.

Obviously, confidentially is respected. But in a circumstance like this, I will always make sure the childrens health comes first. If anyone has a problem with this, feel free to message me directly.

HARPER….although you disliked taking pictures so much and we respected that…lol..we managed to get a few along the way. Happy girl, a kind friend, sweet as can be. I can’t believe you’re already off to preschool. Go do great things, you’ve got this!

MAEVYN….until I looked back, I didn’t realize how little you were when you started! Shy, quiet, happy to play and soak it all in. Then the fun began! Sassy, eager, confident in everything you did. I loved our conversations and one on one time. You truly became your own person and we’re happy we got to see you bloom. Keep shining on beautiful girl 🌸🌺🌸
