šŸ© National Donut Day Alert! šŸ©
We do-nut want to glaze over the fact that today is . šŸ© We usually enjoy our sprinkle-tastic spheres out of the public eye, but today, we could not resist celebrating with these delicious power rings! Donuts may be a stereotype, but we won't lie... if there's a fresh box at the station, we're investigating.🧐

Have you ever wondered why police officers are often associated with donuts? It goes back to 1950’s when officers working graveyard shifts were often seen at donut shops since those were often the only places open late at night. So, enjoy your donuts today and have one for us! And remember, our officers are always here to help, even if they may have a few extra sprinkles on them today!šŸ˜‰

Community Policing in Action: Connecting with Our Local BusinessesšŸ¤šŸ•

Yesterday we stopped by 900 Degree Pizza for a local business visit! Did you know that they have been under new management for over a year now? The new(ish) owners are local to Purcellville, having attending Loudoun Valley High School! We received a tour of the restaurant, including a tutorial of how the large brick oven perfectly cooks their delicious pizza, and they highlighted their newly installed bar in the dining area.

We also reviewed possible safety concerns, which mostly included a discussion regarding the rise in the use of electric scooters in and around in their shopping center. We appreciate these opportunities to connect with local business owners and employees as we continue partnering to build a stronger, safer, and more connected Purcellville community.
