Whether you witnessed the attacks on that day or learned about them as history, September 11, 2001, must never be forgotten.

The depths of evil and suffering and the heights of humanity and compassion were on full display that day.

In the aftermath of the horror, Americans pulled together in a unity of spirit that was palpable and defining.

May we rally together with a similar resolve to love our neighbors and refuse to let evil win in the days and times given to us.

We have the honor of hosting students from Loudoun County High School and Loudoun Classical School at GenJ’s iCommand intensive this week!

In this simulation, students take on the roles of executive branch officials and advisors to the president in the midst of a series of international crises. (Not an easy job in simulation, much less the real world.)

These students are showing leadership, creativity, and strategy (and having a blast at the same time)!

At President Trump’s inauguration, we heard multiple references to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, whom we also honor today. May all Americans strive for a future where we judge our fellow citizens not “by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
