These seem like basic truths today, but 247 years ago, a group of British Colonists, for the first time, declared them as the cornerstone of a new kind of government. Since then, generations of Americans have defended and proclaimed these values near and far following the footsteps of those founding fathers. Today we celebrate our nation's birth and eagerly gaze into its future.

Happy Independence Day!

Thank you so much, Dr. Haynes! You will be deeply missed.

Thank you so much, Dr. Haynes! You will be deeply missed.

We have some bittersweet news to share. APP Program Director Dr. Haynes announced to APP majors last night that next year will be his last at PHC. Dr. Haynes will be retiring and moving back to Tennessee with his wife, Mary. We love Dr. Haynes and will miss him dearly, but we are excited for this new chapter for him and for APP.
