A huge thank you to the Purcell Public Schools Foundation for supporting Mrs. Ambrose’s third-grade classroom through a generous grant! ❤️🖤

Her students use the whiteboards, markers, erasers, headphones, and computer mice every day during ELA and Math. These tools have made learning more engaging and hands-on for her students!

Bring the whole family out for two nights of spooktacular fun, great food, and live entertainment!

🦸‍♂️ HEROES IN WAITING! 🦸‍♀️

Yesterday, our students had an amazing opportunity to learn from Les Thomas during his engaging Heroes in Waiting program! ❤️

Through interactive activities, chants, student volunteers, beach ball teamwork games, and the fun Hero High Five, our students learned some powerful lessons that they can carry with them every day!

💪 There’s a hero in everyone! — Have the courage to stand up, make good choices, and be a positive influence.

🤝 Unity is in Community! — Friendship, teamwork, and supporting one another make our school and community stronger.

❤️ Kind Is Power! — Hurtful words and bullying can weigh people down and leave lasting scars. Kind words, compliments, and encouragement have the power to lift others up!

What a great reminder that we ALL have the power to make a difference in someone’s life! A simple compliment, a kind word, or the courage to stand up for someone can make a bigger impact than we realize.

Thank you, Les Thomas, for reminding our Dragons that heroes aren’t just found in movies or comic books. Heroes are made every day through courage, friendship, and kindness! 🐉❤️🖤

🎉❤️ HAPPY BOSS’S DAY, MRS. SWAYZE! ❤️🎉

Today, we want to celebrate our amazing principal, Mrs. Swayze! 🐉❤️🖤

She supports, encourages, and believes in every person at Purcell Intermediate. She is always reminding us that she would CHOOSE US every single time to be on her TEAM! And we are so thankful to be part of her team!

Mrs. Swayze doesn’t want us to just be okay—she wants us to be the BEST we can be! She holds her students and staff to high expectations, but she doesn’t just tell us what we need to do. She rolls up her sleeves, offers support, and does everything she can to help us reach our goals and become better than we ever thought we could be!

She works tirelessly to make Purcell Intermediate a safe, welcoming place where students, parents, and staff feel valued, supported, and loved. She leads with purpose, serves with a humble heart, and always puts our school and community first.

One of the things we love most about Mrs. Swayze is that she never wants to be in the spotlight. She is always cheering others on instead of taking the credit herself. But today, we want to shine that spotlight right where it belongs! ✨
