A reminder to our Purcell Public Schools families that school will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

🪴 HANDS-ON LEARNING IN BOTANY! 🌿

Mr. Ray Samford’s Botany class spent the day getting their hands dirty and learning the ins and outs of repotting plants!

This isn't just a one-day lesson—each student will be responsible for their plant as a year-long project. Over the course of the school year, they’ll be tracking their plant's growth, managing watering schedules, changing out soil, and ensuring it gets the exact amount of sunlight it needs to thrive.

What an awesome, hands-on experience to kick off the year and bring science to life at PHS! 🐉✨
