We are in the process of making a long time Animal ministry come alive & Stay alive! Building Funds, build enclosures, fencing material for pasture & gathering any items to make this like "Heaven" for our future family! You can read more on the "company overview" column and the website. HHUAR's focus is on the animals that find refuge here & the trouble & at risk teens and youth we work with. Many

people ask about volunteering, & seem offended when we tell them we are not in need. The reason I don't, is because HHUAR is as stated, "FOR SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS & AT RISK TEENS"
Many of them have been through so much in life, for various reasons, and have little trust if any in humans. Many are very withdrawn, suffer depression, lack of self worth, confidence and so much more. Sometimes less people is a good thing! They come here and help with the animals & all the care involved with them. They can feel safe, not judged or bullied. They learn that many of the animals suffer the same abuse, neglect, and trust issues that they do. It is amazing the bond & transformation that develops between them. So in fact, the "Victim" becomes the "volunteer" and transforms into a "Survivor" and a winner! I'm a firm believer if it's God's will, it will Prevail! God Bless us on this Mission...

Hubby has the biggest heart.

Came home and he's sitting outside on the ground, making freinds with "Momma kitty", a ferral cat we've been feeding for months.
She was terrified at first.
Think I'm gona catch her and take her to the vet to have her checked for a chip and health exam.
