Adults’ Craft Club will be held Tuesday, September 15th with NEW HOURS! Due to the popularity of craft club(!!!), we are now offering TWO sessions: 3:30-5pm and 5:30-7pm. The same content in two time slots. Just drop in to the one that works for you.

This month: KINUSAIGA

Kinusaiga is a Japanese method for making fabric mosaics without sewing. Artists carve images into foam board and “color in” their designs by tucking fabric scraps into the grooves.

As usual, we will provide all materials, examples, and instructions. No experience needed.

The Adults' Craft Club meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We take care of the supplies and clean-up, you are only responsible for getting yourself here to create - no fuss, no stress, no mess.

Garden Talk & Plant Clinic | Tuesday, September 8th from 1-3pm
Tomato Tasting

It is tomato season and time to taste the season. Local gardeners will be available with an assortment of their tasty fruits to sample along with information on growing them on the Palouse. Feel free to bring tomatoes from your garden but it is not required to take part in the tasting!

Garden Talk meets the second Tuesday of each month. Each session features a presentation on a garden-related topic, followed by a walk-in plant clinic where WSU Master Gardeners answer questions and accept samples of problem plants for diagnosis. Stay the whole time or just drop in for the part that interests you.

We're excited to launch our latest book club, Lit Happens! Get ready to dive into unforgettable stories and meaningful conversations. 📚✨ Whether you're a longtime literary fiction fan or curious to explore acclaimed novels, this is a welcoming space to read, reflect, and connect with fellow book lovers.

We'll meet the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm. We're getting started with TRAIN DREAMS by Denis Johnson. This 2011 novella inspired the 2025 movie of the same name. Read on Libby or contact the library to get a physical copy of the book.

📖 Everyone is welcome—no expertise (or registration) required, just a love of reading and great conversation. We hope to see you soon.

This month's Teen Takeaway is ready for pickup in the Teen Area of the Library!

Grab your Dungeons and Dragons Mini Kit and then plan on joining us for our Teen D&D Club this October. (Saturdays, October 10 & October 21th from 10:30am-12:30pm)

*Teen Takeaway's are a to-go program just for teens! They are available in limited quantites on the first of each month.
