Coalition for Women Students at WSU "To create a STRONG and DIVERSE force of college educated women, UNITED with a common vision to UPLIF

CWS has been the leader in making relevant social and political issues prominent at WSU. Programming has been intended to educated students on foreign and domestic affairs since the 1920s. CWS has always focused on events for students and has become involved in political activities and advocating for safety, equity, and diversity on campus.

The Women*s Center Violence Prevention Student Coordinators are interested in gathering a group of students from diverse backgrounds, majors, and grade levels to gage interest in various violence prevention measures on campus. This is a semester-long commitment of virtual bi-weekly meetings, date and time to be determined. Focus group members will brainstorm ideas to educate students on topics such as stalking, domestic violence, cyberstalking, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other various topics. No experience is necessary, but creativity and passion for violence prevention are highly encouraged.
