Thunderstorms are expected to form along the southern I-25 corridor this afternoon. These storms will strengthen as they move eastward, towards the Kansas border. The highest chance for severe thunderstorms will be east of Colorado State Roads 109 & 71. These storms will have the potential to produce large hail and damaging winds.

Thunderstorms will develop just east of the southeast mountains Saturday afternoon, and strengthen as they move east into moister conditions towards the Kansas border. The best chance for severe thunderstorms, capable of producing large hail and damaging winds, will be east of a line from Kim to La Junta.
